Tincture Guidance

How do medicinal mushroom tinctures tasteMedicinal mushroom tinctures are not designed to taste good, and have an natural, earthy taste with a slight aftertaste of alcohol. Manapura tinctures are particularly potent and pure, being completely free of any other ingredients beyond; mushrooms, water and organic ethanol.
So our liquid extracts are intentionally free of additives or flavorings, and there is a high ratio of mushrooms in our extracts. If you prefer not to place the drops directly in your mouth, try putting the extract into your morning coffee, tea, or drink of choice.
We do not filter our liquid extracts using a very fine mesh, as evidence suggests that by doing so some of the active components (e.g. polysaccharides and beta glucans) can be removed.
Hence Manapura tinctures are only lightly filtered, and so are intended to be raw, and as nature intended, for maximum potency. Be sure to shake well before use.
Any sediment in your tincture will settle to the bottom under its own weight, and so from time-to-time it will settle in the tip of the pipette. This can normally be removed by squeezing and release the pipette into the bottle a few times. Or in some cases by running warm water into the tip of the pipette.
Medicinal Mushrooms - Capsules, powders, or tincturesMedicinal mushrooms come in various forms such as capsules, powders and tinctures. Whilst all forms are beneficial, tinctures like Manapura’s offer faster absorption and higher bioavailability. This is because the dual extraction method results in a liquid form of the full spectrum of active components.
